About the Department

Department Overview

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) has been functioning from 2025. The department offers an undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering (AI&DS).

Academic Focus

The primary objective of the department is to impart quality technical education, training and research in various areas of Computer Engineering with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and Deep Learning.

Artificial Intelligence

The department emphasizes emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence and intelligent computing, enabling students to understand modern computational methods and develop innovative solutions for real-world applications.

Students explore Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and intelligent automation through practical training, projects, and industry-oriented AI applications.

Data Science

Students gain comprehensive knowledge in Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through technical education, practical training and research. The department focuses on developing skills in data analysis, visualization, statistical modelling and predictive analytics. Students receive hands-on experience through industry-oriented projects and advanced tools. The department is supported by qualified faculty members and state-of-the-art laboratories. It prepares students to address real-world challenges and build successful careers in the data-driven technology landscape.
